Ms. Bird has enjoyed a lengthy & fulfilling career as a triple threat, appearing on Broadway, film & television.  Currently working as a freelance Master Teacher & Choreographer, the Brooklyn native enjoys guiding aspiring performing artists.  Credits include workshops & choreography in Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Hong Kong, the Dominican Republic & Colombia; numerous workshops domestically including Dance Masters & Dance Olympus, & she has also served as Visiting Assistant Professor at Hope College as well as a guest teacher/choreographer at Stephens College.  In addition to plane hopping, she is working on her first novel and through her company BirdSpeak, she creates ecards, & their cyberspace home is www.birdspeak.com.  There is a category for dancers named Dance Notes.

SARAH JANE CLIFFORD (Acrobatics Faculty)  began competing in gymnastics in 1968 and her 32 years of ongoing experience has enabled her to become one of 30 individuals in America chosen by the USA Gymnastics to teach the National Safety Certification Program.

She became a gymnastics judge in 1976 and is certified Elite by the National Association of Women's Gymnastics Judges. Sarah Jane is the Special Olympic Chairman of Gymnastics, the Regional Chairman of the Amateur Athletic Union and National Instructor of Professional Development Program Levels I and II.  Sarah Jane is also President of the New York State Officials for Girls Gymnastics.  She recently received the Small Business Person of the Year Award by the Rochester Chamber of Commerce and the Charles Wagner Award sponsored by the Press Radio Club for her achievement of promoting a local sport to a national level.
